We took our newly purchased ShieldSak to the field last outing and found that not a single drone could be seen circling overhead. We tested this Radio Frequency protecting security bag with several different types of cell phone....
and GPS devices, sure enough, no signal in and no signal out.
One other item we tested was a handheld HAM radio. This apparently operates outside of the frequency limits of the bag as the handheld was able to get reception from the base station. In my opinion the only things going in this bag are my cell phones and tablets. You know; for when one really want to go “off grid”.
The construction is good quality and the material has stood up to the abuse of our last field outing. We will continue to bring the bag along and see just how long it can withstand our not so delicate treatment.
Looking around their site, I noticed they have some pretty cool bags designed to be submersible up to 200 feet.
