![]() Our next class will have the benefit of using quality weapons cleaner and lubricant. We had so many problems with our previous class that we decided to address weapons maintenance and weapons prep very first thing.... The soil make up in our training area is very fine powder. Having a weapon too wet with lubricant will act as a magnet for the fine powdered dirt. In quick order the weapon will begin to show you why we like a very light coat of lubricant only on the areas that need it.
We will be covering this in the first part of every class. Breaking down weapons, inspection, wipe down if needed, apply lubricant as needed, and finally reassemble with functions check.
